DRAGONS OF AUTUMN TWILIGHT p3

Thus began the Age of Despair,
The roads were tangled.
The winds and the sandstorms dwelt in the husks of cities.
The plains and mountains became our home.
As the old gods lost their power,
we called to the blank sky
into the cold, dividing gray to the ears of new gods.
The sky is calm, silent, unmoving.
We have yet to here their answer.

戦記1巻p15

かくして＜絶望の時代＞ぞ始まれる。
道は乱麻と絡まりて、
城址に住まうは風、砂嵐。
われら山、平原に住処を求む。
古き神々の力失せ給いければ、
われらの呼ばわるは空漠の天、
冷たく分かつ薄明に、新しき神々の耳聞こえ給えるや。
天は静穏、黙して不動。
応えはさらに待たねばならぬ。
