「みなさんは崇高な演説を期待していらっしゃるでしょう」
「これら死者たちの英雄的な武勲を称える、崇高な演説を。でも、それは与えられません。私からは決して！」

“These men, who should have been united in a brotherhood forged when Krynn was young, died in bitter discord, brought about by pride, ambition, and greed. Your eyes turn to Derek Crownguard, but he was not totally to blame."

「かれらは、クリン若かりしころに培われた友愛によって、一つに結ばれるべきであったものを、うぬぼれや野心や強欲によって恥ずべき不和を起こし、死んだのです。今、あなたがたはデレク・クラウンガード卿のことをご連想のようですが、責められるべきはかれだけではありません」

"You are. All of you! All of you who took sides in this reckless bid for power.”

「あなたがたもです。あなたがた全員です！あなたがた全員が、この無謀な権力闘争に加担したのです！」

「パラダインよ！」

“Kharan bea Reorx,”
“Friends meet in Reorx.” Fumbling in his pouch, he took out a bit of wood, beautifully carved into the shape of a rose.

「カーラン・ベア・レオルクス」
「レオルクスのみもとで再会を」小袋をまさぐって、かれは小さな木片を取り出した。見事に彫りあげた、薔薇の像。

“Good-bye, Sturm,”
“I only have one gift that, that you would approve of. I--I don’t think you’ll understand. But then again, maybe you do now. Maybe you understand better than I do.” Tasslehoff placed a small white feather in the knight’s cold hand.

「さよなら、スターム」
「あんたが怒らずに受け取ってくれそうな品物、これしか持ってないんだ。これにどんな意味があるのか、スタームにはわかんないだろうね。でも、でもさ、今ならもうわかるんじゃないかな。ぼくよりもずっとわかってるんじゃないかな」タッスルホッフが騎士の冷たい手に握らせたのは、小さな白い羽毛だった。

…いやわかってるんです、フロットサムに回数かけ過ぎですよね！でも後悔はしない！
